Our client, a leader in the retail industry, has an outstanding contract Technical Product Manager – Finance and Accounting opportunity available to join their dynamic team! This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Junior Product Manager to support our Finance and Accounting Products initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product career to make a real impact by helping shape the internal tools and reporting solutions that drive our financial processes.
Responsibilities- Under the leadership of the Group Product Manager, the product manager will organize and drive the quarterly roadmap for financial planning and accounting tools.
- Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog and deliver user stories.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Customer Relations to build, launch, and iterate on internal products.
- Monitor performance against quarterly OKRs and product launch plans.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and ceremonies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Hands‑on experience with e‑commerce accounting & billing systems such as Net Suite
- Knowledge of accounting best practices and tools.
