AboutThe Role
As a Senior Product Manager
, you’ll own one of AKASA’s flagship products in our Clinical Documentation and Medical Coding suite. This product helps improve physician documentation quality, identify missing diagnoses, convert documentation to medical codes, and ensure financial integrity for health systems. You will work in a high-leverage environment with a small, elite group of PMs partnered with a substantial engineering and ML team, delivering AI-native products that generate significant value for customers.
You’ll collaborate across functions — engineering, machine learning, design, finance, and go-to-market — to shape, build, and launch AI-native products.
Your Key Partners Include
- Customer Design Partners – Leaders and frontline staff from prominent health systems (e.g., Cleveland Clinic), partnering with us as design partners for rapid testing and deployment.
- Engineering & ML – An internal team that trains net-new models in-house to achieve breakthrough performance beyond off-the-shelf options.
- Internal Domain SMEs – AKASA team members with domain expertise to ensure products are grounded in real-world user needs.

What You’ll DoStrategize
- Generate ideas for new products or strategic features in collaboration with customers, prospects, marketing, and industry experts.
- Evaluate and recommend new product ideas based on attractiveness (economics, feasibility, etc.).
- Develop deep knowledge on product areas (research, expert interviews, etc.).
- Develop roadmaps, product requirement documents, and plans to align resources and act on new ideas.
Execute
- Lead R&D resources to execute on new product ideas in collaboration with engineering leaders.
- Provide product leadership to implementation teams deploying products.
- Own product performance in the market with cross-functional support.
- Develop supporting product materials with marketing and implementation teams.
Align
- Prepare impactful presentations for internal and external communications.
- Interact with Executive and Functional leaders to strategize and execute on product initiatives.
- Present to, converse with, and learn from prospects and customers.
- Strong educational attainments through undergraduate or graduate level.
- Ability to operate in highly complex and ambiguous business environments.
- 5+ years of product management experience in software enterprises or startups.
- Effective verbal and written communication for internal and external audiences.

- Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $185,000 - $240,000 + Equity. A higher or lower salary may be appropriate for candidates with significantly different qualifications.
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final pay will consider location, experience, and other factors.
