About the RoleWe’re seeking a driven Sales Development Representative to join Sam’s early team. You’ll lead outreach to startup founders, hiring managers, and decision makers, driving new client deals for fractional talent subscriptions.
Compensation & Contract- Commission only for the first 90 days (30-40hrs per week).
- AI interview (voice only) is a required next step before final round.
- Previous tech-enabled startup experience required.
- This role begins as a 90‑day contract‑to‑hire with potential to convert to a full‑time salaried role with bonus compensation and benefits.
- Commission‑only for first 90 days: $500‑$1000 spot bonus per closed deal, paid immediately.
- 5% trailing commission thereafter.
- Average first‑year salary + commission after conversion: $75K base + expected $50K‑$70K commissions.
- Prospect and engage with startup founders and hiring managers via email, Linked In, and founder networks.
- Close fractional workforce contracts across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Admin roles.
- Maintain CRM activity logs and manage deal follow‑through from signed contract to first payment.
- Collaborate with founders to refine messaging and optimize outreach automations.
- Proven background in B2B or SaaS sales, ideally within startups or recruiting exposure.
- Access to founder networks, early‑stage startups, or venture‑backed ecosystems.
- Excellent communicator—confident, articulate, and relationship‑driven.
- Comfortable in fast‑paced, lean environments where initiative equals impact.
