AboutThe Role
The Business Development Coordinator partners closely with the business development team to support the Sustainability + Corporate Responsibility and Social Enterprise + Impact Investing practice groups. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, high-impact initiatives by coordinating and executing business development projects, pitches, events, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to quality execution, thoughtful teamwork, and delivering an excellent client experience across all aspects of the role.
- Edit, update, and maintain practice group marketing materials, including practice descriptions, attorney biographies, website content, and other collateral; draft new materials as requested.
- Assist in preparing pitches and RFPs by conducting research, coordinating collateral, assembling materials, and working closely with the Marketing Pitch Hub to ensure accuracy and quality; track results and prepare analyses with recommendations.
- Create dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches, client presentations, and internal communications.
- Conduct research using firm and online tools to develop intelligence on prospective clients, industries, markets, and business development opportunities.
- Coordinate and provide research support for speaking engagements, sponsor ships, and directory and ranking submissions.
- Support the planning, production, and execution of client development events, including sponsor ships and webinars; coordinate logistics and communications, analyze post-event data, and provide summaries and recommendations.
- Coordinate with Marketing Creative Services to apply brand standards, use firm templates, prepare files for print production, and support press checks as needed.
- Collaborate closely with marketing managers and staff across offices to share insights, identify improvement opportunities, maintain current databases, and ensure seamless execution of marketing and business development initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing or a related field) and 3+ years of professional services marketing experience; law firm experience preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail across written materials, research, and data management.
- Highly organized and responsive, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of client service.
- Professional judgment and flexibility, including discretion with confidential information and willingness to work hours as needed to meet business demands.

Salary ranges are stated where required by law. The range displayed is specific to positions in the listed cities and may vary based on factors including local market data, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
