Data integration platform is looking for an Operations Manager to work directly with the Founder and keep the business running smoothly. With top-tier investors including YC, this is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team and make an outsized impact across operational functions. In this role, you'll own day-to-day operations across finance, people, events, and logistics, including onboarding/offboarding, payroll, invoicing, office management, etc.

You'll coordinate with partners, including customers, vendors, accountants, payroll and benefits providers, recruiters, and event vendors. You'll also plan company events and conferences to ensure seamless coordination of logistics. Someone with experience in an early-stage, fast-moving company with high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and clear written communication. Must be comfortable with spreadsheets and basic reporting, quick to learn new tools and portals, and able to switch contexts while managing multiple threads without losing quality.

This is an in-office role based in South Park in San Francisco. Must be able to travel to 4 conferences per year between SF and Las Vegas. 100-115K+ DOE + benefits, equity, 401k, unlimited PTO, and annual team retreats to fun international destinations!

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day operations across finance, people, logistics, and office management to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational requests from team members and customers, resolving routine questions quickly, routing complex issues appropriately, and maintaining clear internal systems and reporting.
  • Coordinate with external partners such as accountants, payroll and benefits providers, recruiters, vendors, and event partners to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Support finance operations, including invoicing, collections follow-ups, vendor and customer forms, purchase order tracking, resolving invoice discrepancies, and maintaining clean month-end processes in collaboration with accounting partners.
  • Support people operations such as onboarding and offboarding, payroll inputs and changes for U.S. and U.K. staff, contractor payment coordination, and basic HR administration.
  • Plan and execute company events, off-sites, and conference participation, including timelines, vendor coordination, materials, and travel logistics to foster team connection.
  • Manage office operations for both U.S. and U.K. locations, including daily lunch coordination and general workplace needs.
  • Implement, document, and improve operational processes and procedures to increase efficiency and visibility.
Qualifications
  • 2
    -3+ years of experience in an Operations, Generalist, or Administrative role at a fast-paced startup.
  • Experience or exposure to finance operations, HR administration (including basic international processes), vendor management, or event coordination is a huge plus!
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, switch contexts efficiently, and maintain quality across tasks.
  • Reliable, flexible, and available to adjust working hours when needed for time-sensitive matters.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently owning operational responsibilities without close supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate issues, understand data, identify the right stakeholders, and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, basic reporting, and operational tools, including Google Sheets or Excel, G-Suite, Notion, and payroll platforms.
