Varo Bank is an all‑digital, mission‑driven, FDIC‑insured bank that aims to empower customers with innovative financial products. We are on a rapid growth trajectory and are looking for a Product Manager to help expand our payments capabilities.

A Product Manager on the Savings & Deposits team responsible for defining, leading, and delivering key aspects of our payments roadmap and expanding our payment capabilities to meet core customer needs.

• Create and drive epics and user stories for modern money‑movement and deposit capabilities
• Establish thought leadership in payment experiences
• Manage product performance, focusing on customer needs, growth, and cost control
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, data science, design, marketing, etc.) to build and launch solutions
• Develop and present detailed product deliverables to stakeholders and executives
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Remove team obstacles and champion payment initiatives across Varo

• 5+ years of related work experience, including 3+ years in Product Management
• Experience in payments, banking, and/or fintech
• Familiarity with UX paradigms and best practices
• A measurement mindset – proficiency with A/B testing, holdouts, and data‑driven analysis
• A bias toward action and the ability to find the insights needed to inform decisions
• Strong communication skills to distill complex information into clear strategy documents and PRDs
• Technical proficiency to collaborate with engineers on product architecture
