About The Role

In this role you'll work front and center in defining the best path forward for our company. Through rigorous analyses, focus on our customers, creative thinking, and deep partnership with the business, we develop the strategic direction for our portfolio of brands. You will drive critical projects to advance our priorities, growth, and long‑range plans. Your goal is to drive long‑term, value creation through deep partnership with leaders and stakeholders across the company.

• Support the evaluation of key enterprise‑level growth initiatives to identify opportunities and serve as a key input to prioritization decisions.
• Identify key issues and enablers, structure problems, develop and deliver workplans that drive value creation across Gap Inc., perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, including data analysis, financial modeling, and market and competitive research.
• Synthesize findings, develop a storyline and supporting materials to communicate recommendations to Senior Management and Leadership Team.
• Monitor and track market trends and competitor market share to identify threats and opportunities.
• Support creation of materials for Senior leadership.
• Support the overall Strategic Planning Process, including Long‑Range Planning and Annual Operating Plans.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships and consensus.
• Influence strategy for area/team.

• Professional work experience, preferably in apparel, retail, management consulting, or private equity.
• Demonstrated track record as an outstanding problem solver.
• Intellectually curious, with a high interest in always learning and understanding the root cause of problems.
• Detail oriented, with a strong understanding of the importance of data integrity.
• Ability to translate complex ideas and dispersed information into simple, actionable recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, organize and analyze large/complex data sets efficiently and effectively.
• Experience working with AI tools.

Salary Range: $92,900 - $123,200 USD.
