  • Partner with Finance to build gross margin forecasts and contribute to the monthly forecast and budget processes.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Planning, and Sourcing teams to align on financial and merchandise strategies.
  • Communicate key insights and business risks/opportunities to Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
  • Assist Head of Planning in aligning Open-to-Buy (OTB) and inventory flow with financial targets.

  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly reporting on inventory, sales, and margin performance.
  • Support post-season hindsight analysis to identify trends, lessons, and opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to guide decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain merchandise plans specific to the wholesale channel, incorporating account-level forecasts and seasonal sales strategies.
  • Monitor order flow and inventory positions to ensure timely fulfillment and optimized in-stock levels.
  • Partner with VP of Wholesale to align wholesale targets with company-wide inventory and margin objectives.
Cash Flow Modeling
  • Build and maintain merchandise-related cash flow models to support financial planning and liquidity management.
  • Model the timing of inventory purchases, receipts, and sales to forecast working capital requirements.
  • Provide scenario analysis to assess the cash impact of changes in buying strategies, seasonal flows, and wholesale commitments.
Process & Tools
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of planning tools, reporting systems, and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across data sources and planning inputs.
What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in Planning, FP&A, or related role in a retail or consumer business.
