Overview

Seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development professional to join our team, focusing on the Northern California region. This is a remote, field-based role, ideally suited for candidates located in or near the San Francisco Bay Area to allow for regular in-person client meetings, participation in local biotech events, and engagement with regional stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships while identifying and engaging new business opportunities.
  • Present and promote our preclinical research services to prospective clients, showcasing the value we bring to their programs.
  • Provide insights to the company on market trends, client needs, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Advocate for genetically engineered mouse models and their impact on advancing biomedical research.
  • Represent the company s core values and uphold our reputation within the industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in life sciences is required; advanced knowledge of preclinical mouse models is highly desirable.
  • Experience in drug discovery, biopharma CRO services, or related fields required.
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors preferred.
  • Background in in vivo pharmacology is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional sales and relationship-building skills with a track record of driving results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to overcome obstacles and build trust.
  • Confident delivering business and scientific presentations with clarity and rigor.
  • Willingness to travel within the U.S. and internationally (25% or more).
