Our client, a leading beauty retailer is seeking Store Operations & Facilities Sourcing Manager that will be responsible for building strong business partner relationships and providing enterprise-level strategic sourcing support to Store Operations and Facilities teams. This role will develop and execute efficient sourcing and category management strategies while leveraging the end-to-end Source-to-Contract process to deliver measurable value and cost savings.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, you will manage the full lifecycle of strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring process compliance and supporting organizational objectives related to diversity, risk management, and sustainability.
Please note this is a hybrid, temp-to-perm role based in San Francisco, CA. Pay will be $50/hr.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including market analysis, stakeholder alignment, sourcing events, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and transition to business partners.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support sourcing objectives, manage contract negotiations, and drive approvals through the Intake-to-Contract process using tools such as Zip, Coupa, SAP, and Ironclad.
- Develop and execute category strategies and sourcing roadmaps aligned with business priorities, spend data, and contract timelines.
- Support Store Operations and Facilities teams with broader sourcing needs and ongoing category management.
- Identify and drive cost-saving and spend optimization opportunities across departments and geographies.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery.
- 5+ years of proven success managing end-to-end strategic sourcing engagements
- 5+ years of sourcing experience across retail store operations and facilities categories, including goods and services (North American retail experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
- Strong experience negotiating enterprise-level agreements such as master services agreements and statements of work
- Demonstrated ability to develop category strategies, multi-year sourcing plans, supplier relationship management frameworks, and negotiation strategies
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and productivity improvements while influencing change and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Excellent project and timeline management skills across the full sourcing lifecycle
- Skilled negotiator with a solid understanding of contract models, market terms, and end-to-end contract execution
- Ability to effectively influence internal and external partners, including senior-level stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with confidence communicating at all organizational levels
- Advanced proficiency in analytics, Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization, and strategic sourcing tools
- Hands‑on experience with collaboration platforms, procure-to-pay systems, vendor management solutions, e‑sourcing tools, savings tracking, and contract lifecycle management systems
