Overview

Insight Global is seeking an various Level Technicians to work for an automotive client.

Responsibilities
  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the technical team.
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Communicates with lead technician immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
  • Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the company.
  • Inspects and test drives newly delivered vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components and drivability functions.
  • Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to lead technician.
  • Ensures that customers  cars are kept clean. Notifies the lead technician immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
  • Keeps shop area neat and clean.
  • Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
  • Must meet productivity and efficiency goals and other KPIs set by leadership.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as an Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Technician (specifically hands on experience with technology, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
  • Familiar with the Pre-Delivery process.
  • Knowledge of using a tire machine and wheel balancer.
  • The ability to take instructions from lead technicians and/or shop foreman to ensure demands and goals are met.
  • Has the ability to make minor repairs and parts replacements.
Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Technician (specifically hands on experience with technology, diagnostics, and repair.
  • Mechanical experience
  • Extensive experience with diagnostics and repair of vehicles as a whole
  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience working on autonomous vehicles
  • 2+ Automotive Technician Certifications (ASE or OEM)
Pay range and compensation package

$25-75 depending on level of experience and qualifications
