Title: Sr. Records Clerk
Department: Claims

Position Summary

The Sr. Records Clerk maintains clerical queues and mailboxes related to eligibility and correspondence and ensures workflows are handled within assigned guidelines. "Has minimum necessary access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) by Job Description/Role."

Key Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintains member and dependent files in appropriate system; reviews and enters information relative to the support of the operations staff
  • Generates and releases forms and letters as required.
  • Performs clerical duties which may include preparing enrollment packets, processing mail, copying, faxing, scanning, or filing.
  • Provides general office support as assigned by leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience of data entry.
  • Organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of the sensitive nature of working with personal information and the ability to maintain discretion.
  • Computer proficiency including MS Office tools and applications.

Working Conditions / Physical Effort
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
