Administrative Management, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
A fast-growing, venture-backed technology company is seeking an Office Manager & Events Coordinator to serve as the face of its San Francisco office and help build a warm, connected, and high-performing culture. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a small, collaborative team, owning office operations while planning and executing events that bring a remote-first organization together. We are seeking an organized, proactive, and personable professional who thrives in a people-facing role and is excited by growth potential.
*** This is a full-time, onsite role based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, mail, and overall space management
- Manage vendor relationships such as landlords, cleaning services, catering, and other service providers
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, partners, and visitors to the office
- Plan and execute team events including quarterly onsites, hackathons, offsites, team dinners, and celebrations
- Manage end-to-end event logistics including venues, vendors, catering, travel coordination, and onsite execution
- Support onboarding logistics for new hires when they are onsite
- Maintain office budgets and track expenses, identifying efficiencies where possible
- Provide occasional light calendar or scheduling support for the CEO as needed
- Act as a culture carrier, helping create a welcoming, organized, and engaging office environment
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in office management, events, operations, or a related role
- Warm, personable, and professional demeanor; comfortable being the face of the office
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working without a playbook
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion
- Based in San Francisco and able to be in the office five days per week
Compensation:
100, base salary, plus equity and full benefits
