Job Summary
the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at UCSF as an Administrative Officer 2. The role coordinates Endocrinology Grand Rounds (EGR), continuing medical education (CME), faculty searches, new hire orientation, IT system access, medical staff credentialing, and various human resources concerns. The Officer also manages facilities coordination, maintenance repair, special projects, events, procurement processes, and faculty reimbursement requests. Most work can be performed remotely, with occasional on‑site presence for meetings and EGR events.
Responsibilities- Coordinate Endocrinology Grand Rounds (EGR) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) matters.
- Assist with faculty searches, orient new hires, manage IT system access, and handle medical staff credentialing.
- Address ad hoc human resources concerns and manage faculty reimbursement requests.
- Oversee facilities coordination within the division, handling maintenance and repair issues.
- Organize special projects, manage events, oversee procurement processes, and handle faculty reimbursement requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area, or equivalent experience and training.
- Minimum 1+ years of directly relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi‑task with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with common organization‑specific computer applications.
- Ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.

SalaryHourly rate: $29.05 – $53.50. Salary placement is dependent on work experience, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreement (if applicable).

Fully On‑Site;
Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑12:00 pm; 50% time;
