Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities
The Recruiting Assistant supports the California region with attorney recruiting efforts and activities. The Assistant focuses on the administration and coordination of the Firm’s summer associate and law school recruiting process. Additionally, the Assistant provides administrative support performing a variety of complex and clerical functions relating to the Firm’s attorney hiring efforts at all levels. The Assistant interacts daily with our partners and associates, summer associates and various Firm and law school administrators.
The Assistant must possess excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities, and be invested in providing a first‑rate recruiting experience for all parties involved in the process.
- Experience using web-based databases, and data reporting and virtual platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a business and/or professional services environment.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience, and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting pay scale for this San Francisco position is $60,000 to $75,000.
Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.
