Senior Accountant

Our client is a globally influential, San Francisco-based music and media company that sits at the intersection of creativity, technology, and culture. The team is now hiring a Senior Accountant onsite at their downtown San Francisco HQ. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across the company's global entities.

You would prepare journal entries, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and manage consolidations, inter-company transactions, and revaluations. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience with international operations, and a solid understanding of audits and internal controls. Responsibilities

• This role sits at the core of the accounting function, supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across multiple global entities.
• You’ll own journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, support inter-company transactions and consolidations, and work closely with audits, compliance, and internal controls.
• The work is complex, fast-moving, and highly visible - ideal for someone who enjoys both technical depth and real ownership.
• You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, HR, and business partners, and have a seat at the table as the company continues to scale internationally.

Qualifications

• The team is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented accountant with a strong understanding of US GAAP, experience in Net Suite and modern finance tools, and a desire to work in an in-office, collaborative environment.
• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including audit experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Net Suite, BILL, Expensify, and Brex
• Familiarity with G-Suite and Google Workplace interface
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Bonus Skills

Experience supporting international entities or working in music, entertainment or media is a big plus, but not required.

Pay range and compensation package

Compensation: $100K-$120K base + discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits
