- Lead Accurate Reporting: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring financial statements are precise and timely.
- Post Intercompany Journal Entries: Prepare and process intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper allocation across entities.
- Enhance Processes: Design, implement, and maintain internal controls, reports, and financial system interfaces.
- Review & Reconcile: Prepare and/or review account reconciliations, cost reports, billings, bank reconciliations, and other financial reports.
- Support Audits: Provide key information to auditors and management; prepare audit schedules and ensure compliance.
- Ensure Compliance: Review transactions, journal entries, and regulatory reports to meet GAAP, hospital policies, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate & Advise: Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong experience with general ledger maintenance and intercompany transactions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Clear and effective communication skills for both finance and non-finance teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a collaborative environment
