A leading digital streaming network seeks an Accountant. The successful candidate will report to the Revenue Director and will be responsible for providing support across the global digital and streaming business units on the accounting of revenue recognition, contract review, and order processing functions.

Accountant Responsibilities:

* Ensure revenue recognition is booked accurately, timely, and in compliance with SOX controls and GAAP standards.

* Month-end close activities for revenue recognition, including but not limited to journal entries, revenue calculation,s and accruals.

* Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.

* Resolve the sales order data ingestion exceptions and ensure the order details are accurately ingested into Oracle for revenue recognition.

* Process delivery adjustments for media ad sales orders.

* Assist with quarterly SOX audits, internal audit, and external audit requests.

Accountant

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of accounting experience.

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

* Revenue experience.

* Oracle or major ERP experience.

* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Lookup function, pivot tables, etc.).

* Ability to effectively manage time and meet tight deadlines.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.

* Advertising media industry experience is a plus.

* Operative One and Salesforce experience is a plus.

Shift:

* Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Some flexibility may be available once the employee is established in the role.
