LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to our client in San Francisco, CA. This is a temp to hire position with a growing and dynamic company.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will work with an accounting team to review and enter credit card transactions in the accounting system, research and resolve discrepancies, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records. This role will work directly with vendors to resolve billing issues and partner with other departments on special projects. We are seeking an applicant with 1-3 years of experience with strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities
  • Review and properly code credit card transactions in accounting system timely and accurately
  • Reconcile credit card statements and identify discrepancies
  • Confirm accuracy of supporting documentation for transactions
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Prepare reports for management review
  • Research and resolve A/P issues
  • Partner with other departments and provide training to colleagues on procedures
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of supporting documents, transactions, and invoices
  • Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Business preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of AP experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Experience handling large volumes of credit card transactions
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
