Our growing High Tech startup client is looking for a hands on Accounting Manager to report directly to the Controller. This role will play a key role in the accounting operations and financial close process., including performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and supporting audits.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Booking, reconciling, and analyzing G/L accounts transactions for areas such as accruals, AP, prepaids, etc.
• Play an integral part in the month-end close process by booking journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and conducting flux analysis.
• Play a leading role in the transition from Quickbooks to Net Suite.
• Work across the company to guide financial decisions - from strengthening accounting processes to ensuring cash is managed wisely as we scale.
• Lead audits end to end from design to implementation
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on working experience in accounting
• Prior experience with Quickbooks and / or Net Suite is a plus
• CPA from Big 4 or other public accounting firm.
