How You’ll Make an Impact at Marq Vision

As Marq Vision’s global expansion accelerates, a solid and efficient accounting operation is critical. The Sr. GL/Compensation Analyst will oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including payroll accounting, stock-based compensation administration, commission, US-AP processing, global collections support, US customer invoicing, US general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations, to support the company’s accounting operations. This role enhances financial efficiency through accurate accounting and seamless collaboration with internal and external teams.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a significant impact in scaling Marq Vision’s accounting operations to support global growth and develop professionally in the process.

What You’ll Achieve
  • Oversee and execute payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and coordination with the People team and external payroll providers
  • Facilitate and administer stock-based compensation, coordinating with Legal, Finance, People Team and Accounting on employee option grants and exercise matters
  • Manage sales commission accounting, including preparation, calculation reviews, accruals, payout validation, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Support U.S. Accounts Payable (AP) processing, ensuring timely and accurate invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment execution
  • Provide global collections support, partnering with CS and overseas teams to monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve customer billing issues
  • Prepare and issue U.S. customer invoicing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contractual terms and revenue recognition requirements
  • Perform U.S. general ledger accounting activities, including month-end close tasks, journal entry preparation, and variance analysis
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
  • Maintain strong internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness, supporting internal and external audits as needed
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Operations, People Team, Strategic Finance / FP&A, Legal, and Finance leadership to support scalable, compliant accounting operations as the company grows
  • Support ad-hoc requests as assigned by Corporate Accounting Manager
Skills You’ll Need to Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Accounting) or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting including payroll, stock-administration, general ledger, AP, AR and reconciliations
  • Highly proficient ERP/financial systems (e.g. Quick Books, Net Suite, Ramp)
  • Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and equipped with logical and analytical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated professional with a proactive attitude and a strong desire to grow a successful accounting career
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
Compensation and Benefits (For U.S. Residents Only)

Marq Vision provides a competitive benefits package, including equity opportunities, health benefits, and other perks designed to support our employees’ well-being and professional growth. For roles based in the United States, the estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000–$123,000, depending on experience and skills.
