Overview
To thrive as a Pro Sales Associate, you must be approachable, organized, and genuinely interested in helping customers. Basic computer skills are necessary to use our customer management software. An outgoing personality with a positive attitude will help you start conversations with customers, and being a self-starter will be useful to jump in and help wherever you see a need. Previous experience or knowledge in paint or sales is not required;
we will teach you everything you need to know.
As our Pro Sales Associate at Behr, you ll work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors and their unique needs. You will build relationships with pros who rely on Behr for excellent products and exceptional customer service. You will roll out the red carpet by collaborating with them to get exactly the right products, mix the paint, collect any sundry tools they need, and help them get in and out quickly so they can get back to work.
You will help our professional customers feel like they had a paint store experience.
Hours
:
Your work hours will vary based on peak selling times, including weekends and holidays. Shifts can extend until 7 p.m. We work while consumers shop.
Outgoing personality: Support the Home Depot Pro Desk, introduce yourself to contractors, get to know their business and needs, maintain the relationship, and follow up on their jobs and future needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with Behr s outside sales reps and assist customers in the store, including pulling and tinting orders for pickup. This role may require occasional lifting up to 75 lbs. You will also work closely with Home Depot staff as part of the team to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship.
Operational skills: Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce. Training will be provided, and prior computer knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications and preferences: Bilingual is a bonus. A high school diploma or GED is required for all Behr Paint Company roles.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed for pulling/tinting orders.
Behr Pro Desk and contractor relationship experience is valued, but not required.
Bilingual (preferred) but not required.
