I’m partnering confidentially with a top-tier ENR-ranked construction and infrastructure organization to identify a senior finance & accounting leader with deep expertise in ASC 606, long-term construction accounting, and claims/change order revenue recognition
.
This is a high-impact, executive-facing role
—not a back-office seat. You’ll operate at the intersection of technical accounting, project risk, and operational execution
, supporting some of the most complex infrastructure projects in the U.S.

You’ll play a critical leadership role across:
- ASC 606 revenue recognition for large-scale, long-term construction contracts
- Claims, disputed change orders, and CIE / unbilled receivables strategy
- Early warning indicators for projects at financial risk
- Preparation and review of technical accounting memos supporting claim revenue
- Executive-level reporting on cost overruns, EACs, and recovery strategies
You’ll partner closely with executive leadership, business unit presidents, project executives, outside counsel, and third-party claims consultants
, influencing key financial and operational decisions.
- 7+ years in construction / engineering finance & accounting
- Strong hands-on experience with ASC 606, contract accounting, claims & change orders
- CPA strongly preferred (Big 4 + construction clients a plus)
- Executive presence with the ability to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes
- Proven success navigating high-risk, high-complexity project environments
