The City of San Fernando is seeking an experienced and responsible professional to become a full-time Sewer Worker in our Public Works Department, on-site. A Sewer Worker is an entry-level position responsible for performing a full range of sewer maintenance duties while working independently with judgment and initiative. The role requires operating tools and equipment, understanding the City’s sewer collection system, and ensuring reliable system operation.
Responds to emergency call outs and performs other related duties, as assigned. The position reports to the Public Works Supervisor and differs from the Senior Sewer Worker, who performs advanced duties and may lead a small crew.
