$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr

This is a part‑time hourly position to provide in‑home care and assistance to elderly individuals in the Encino, CA and San Fernando Valley areas. Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.

• The hourly rate ranges from $18 to $20, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Companionship and conversation, light housekeeping, apparel selection, household management, errands, meal planning and prep, laundry and linen changing, medication reminders, transportation, and assistance with ADLs including bathing, toileting, dressing, and mobility.
• In overnight situations prepare sleeping area.
• Document activities in the Care Plan Binder, record daily hours worked and daily services performed, report any significant changes with client to office immediately.
• Follow all policies and procedures as described in the Senior Helpers Handbook.

• Prior experience caring for adults.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level.
• Willingness to submit to a background check per California state law.
• Ready to obtain TB testing before engaging with clients.
• Valid California driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted.
