Overview
Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for two Automotive Lead Maintenance Technicians. The Automotive Lead Maintenance Technician will perform automotive repairs, and preventive maintenance services according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. This role also assists with managing the workflow in the Service Center in addition to performing minor vehicle maintenance services across several manufacturer lines according to manufacturer specifications.
This position is for our Pre-Owned reconditioning center located in Sylmar, CA
. The job comprises completing stringent 109-point inspections on units selected for our Car Sales division. Prior experience in used car reconditioning is a plus. This position is located at 12087 Lopez Canyon Rd, Sylmar, CA 91342
. The pay for this position starts at $21.50/hour (1 ASE minimum). In addition, you can earn an additional $1/hour for ASE certifications beyond the required minimum of 1.

- ASEs beyond the required minimum of 1 will increase hourly rate by an additional $1/hour (A1-A8)
- Uniforms are provided
- Work with Manager/Supervisor to distribute work to appropriately qualified maintenance staff and to ensure efficient workflow of vehicles through the repair process and returning the vehicle to the appropriate customer
- Assist with training and repair review of maintenance technicians to ensure repairs are properly completed, as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
- Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines
- Perform light maintenance and non-warranty repairs
- Replace wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
- May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs
- Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
- May be responsible for training employees on proper health, safety and environmental procedures
- Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- One year of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- At least 1 current and valid ASE certifications required (A1-A8)
- Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or G.E.D is required
This position requires a valid unrestricted driver's license.
