General Description of Duties

Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and ready to support a fast-paced regulatory team? We’re looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Regulatory Affairs Department on a temporary basis. If you thrive in a structured environment and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Keep our regulatory files in top shape, organize, maintain, and archive raw material documentation.
  • Manage the regulatory inbox and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Track and update religious and organic certifications for raw materials.
  • Communicate with vendors to collect essential food safety and compliance documents.
  • Assist with formatting and organizing regulatory documents and reports.
  • Support the team with document management, project coordination, and reporting on key metrics.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Perform other administrative tasks assigned by the Regulatory Manager.
🎯 What You Bring to the Table:
  • High school diploma required; a 2- or 4-year degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A team player attitude with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
  • Type: 40hrs per week on a Contract – Temporary Basis
  • Department: Regulatory Affairs
  • Reports to: Regulatory Manager
  • Environment: Office-based with cross-department collaboration
