Sr. Client Manager, Employee Benefits – IAS, West

The Sr. Client Manager assists in coordinating carrier relationships and leads the service team on large accounts. Responsibilities include developing placement/renewal strategies, coordinating service delivery, managing marketing activities for large accounts, preparing risk maps, completing special projects, improving business processes, and mentoring new colleagues.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist in establishing and maintaining appropriate carrier relationships.
- Perform marketing activities for large accounts as assigned.
- Prepare risk maps or peer review risk maps for assigned accounts.
- Coordinate service delivery, including developing initial placement/renewal strategy.
- Complete special projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes.
- Serve as a mentor to new colleagues when requested.
- Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market conditions and specific underwriting appetites.
- Ability to analyze complex risk exposures and develop appropriate recommendations.
- Excellent client service and problem‑solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn additional software.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional insurance designation preferred or in progress.
- Minimum five years’ experience and proficiency in account management.
- Maintain required licenses for states where the firm operates; willingness to obtain additional licenses within 90 days.
- Effective presentation skills in verbal and written communications.

- Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
- Some travel may be required.

The starting pay is $110,000–$115,000 annually, negotiable upon hire.
