Facility Administrator
$85,000-$100,000/year

Admin will manage 2 Adult Healthcare Facilities, Nursing Home Administrator License required!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Plans and organizes the daily functions of the facility.
Available 24/7 by phone, unless another qualified person has been scheduled to be available.
Manages financial responsibility within budgetary guidelines.
Knowledge of financial reimbursement for resident services rendered.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines, licensing requirements and all Mentor policies and procedures.
Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, providing corrective action and terminating direct report staff.
Maintains staffing levels within regulations and budgetary guidelines.
Manages Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIP), Independent Contractors, and vendor services.
Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed at all times, including timely completion and submission of all incident and accident reports.
Initiates and manage emergency procedures.
Ultimately responsible for assuring that all resident and staff records are kept organized, complete and confidential.
Responsible for the admission process and maintenance of the resident business files.
Responsible for the Performance Improvement Program.
Provides direction and support to the Nurse Manager
Participates in management planning sessions
Travels as required and performs other related duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:

Education and Experience:

A current and active Nursing Home Administrator license issued by this state
One (1) year experience in a leadership/management role in SNF preferred

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Required:

Current Administrator license appropriate to the facility licensure issued by this state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Health Care Providers.
Valid driver's license

Other Requirements:

Travel as needed between 2 local facilities

Physical Requirements:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
