Job Summary:

The Parts Warehouse Associate I is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing automotive parts and supplies in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. This entry-level position plays a key role in supporting the parts department, ensuring inventory is organized and readily available for internal technicians and retail customers.

Essential Functions:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Sort and place parts in appropriate storage areas according to inventory procedures.
• Pull parts and prepare orders for service technicians and retail customers.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including shelves, workstations, and shipping/receiving areas.
• Load and unload delivery trucks as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified).Assist with parts deliveries or pickups as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Support other parts department functions as directed by the manager or supervisor.
• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver automotive parts to designated locations.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance.
  
  Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar role.
• Required to take and pass on the job forklift certification.
• Basic understanding of automotive industry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; required to have California driver's license within 10 days following date of hire.
• Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of driving experience.
• Previous experience working in an automotive, motorcycle, or dealership parts department
• Familiarity with parts inventory systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
• Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment
• Basic knowledge of automotive or motorcycle parts and terminology
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands, walks, sits; uses hands; frequently reaches with hands and arms; frequently talks and hears.
• Occasionally climbs or balances; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, squats or crawls; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• May involve working in varying temperatures and conditions depending on the warehouse setting.
• Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.
• Noise level is moderate.
