Overview

Padres Baseball Camps is hiring a Site Director for summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout San Diego County. The Site Director will provide leadership to campers and staff, delivering the Padres Camps curriculum and ensuring a positive, safe, and engaging experience for ages 4 through 13.

We provide equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide leadership to help campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for personal accountability. Opportunities exist for roles from Coach to Site Director.

Work outdoors with young campers, share knowledge of baseball/softball, and make a positive difference in the lives of youth.

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
• Supervise, manage, and motivate staff and campers, delivering the camp experience at a high level
• Execute San Diego Padres Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
• Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
• Highlight teachable moments and encourage fun each day of camp
• Collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds to uphold the Padres Camps reputation

• Be prepared to make a 10 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day
  • Padres Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026
• Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
• Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
• Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability
• At times be responsible for driving a rented cargo van and having a safe space to park it (Padres Baseball & Softball Camps covers the cost of fuel for the van used for work/camp)
• Be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball
• Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations

• Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview
• Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our local market leader
• Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director

Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,360 to $1,600 per week.
