Job Overview

The Academy of Our Lady of Peace is currently accepting applications for a Girls' Beach Volleyball Assistant Coachfor the Spring 2025 season. This is a seasonal interscholastic coachingpositionfor a competitive CIF girls'Beach Volleyball program. We are interested in finding someone who will serve as an excellent role model to represent OLP with experience and dedication to developing the program and building it for future seasons.

Theassistantcoachmust be able to deal with and encourage the individual to greater levels of participation and skill. At the same time, theassistantcoachmust constantlyworkwith the group to develop team spirit, cooperation, and fair play. Theassistantcoachmodels sportsmanship and competition. Theassistantcoachis an exemplary model of ethics and moral behavior.

Theassistantcoachshould uphold the School Mission and implement it throughout their respective program.

The assistant coach agrees to lead and supervise student-athletes in alignment with the mission and values of the Academy of Our Lady of Peace.

• Planning and conducting practices, training, and competitions.
• Teaching sport-specific skills, strategies, and sportsmanship.
• Ensuring athlete safety, supervision, and proper conduct at all team activities.
• Communicating professionally with athletes, families, and school personnel.
• Collaborating with the Athletic Department on scheduling, uniforms/equipment, transportation, and facilities.
• Supporting academic success, character development, and positive team culture.
• Complying with all OLP, CIF, and league rules and completing required certifications (including Live Scan and CPR/First Aid).
• Attending required meetings and assisting with inventory, equipment, and uniform procedures.
