Security Software Test Engineer

Overview

This is a Software Test Engineer position. In this role the candidate works on a team responsible for testing QTI security solutions on Qualcomm chipsets. The role involves a good mix of hands-on testing of the products and software development of test cases and automation using a combination of C/C++, Python and XML.

• Design test plan to validate security protocol and its interaction with other applications.
• Develop and implement test applications at both API level and system level using C/C++. Automating test cases in Python.
• Test execution, troubleshooting and problem resolution on embedded software platforms.
• Interact in a team environment with developers, system engineers and testers.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• Software development skills in C, C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of cryptography and security protocol is a plus.
• Team player, work independently with minimum supervision.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

$89,000.00 - $

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation  offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants.
