Job Description :
The scope of this effort is to obtain systems engineering and software engineering support for development of a DoN business system: NPMA application. The scope of the support will include development of the current NPMA prototype and provide technical expertise to transition the NPMA prototype through testing into a full-rate production. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Knowledge of the following Government systems, or other similar systems:
DoN's specialized containerization solution (i.e. Rapid Assess and Incorporate Software Engineering (RAISE) Platform of Choice), Naval Identity Services (NIS), Navy Information Application Product Suite (NIAPS), Consolidated Afloat Networks Enterprise Services (CANES) and Agile Core Servicers (ACS))
* Knowledge of DoD policies, regulations, and procedures.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, regulations, procedures, and tools.
* Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and principles as related to the implementation of the required Gov Cloud environment.
* Knowledge of Cloud technologies, which include: AWS EC2, RDS, Elasti Cache, Fargate, EKS, and Azure Database, App Services, etc.
* Familiar with software architecture that scales, which could include microservices. In addition to familiarity of CQRS, event sourcing, distributed caching, and rate limiting.
* Skilled in programming languages such as Java, Java Script (JS) SQL, C, C++, C#, Embedded C, and Objective

C.
* Develop, evaluate, and peer-review the development of programming algorithms or syntaxes utilizing software programming languages such as Microsoft SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript, React, Angular, C#, ASPNET Core.
* Skilled in working with a variety of software product and technology areas such as Microsoft SQL Server, Git, IIS, Windows and Windows Server operating system, Redhat Enterprise, Atlassian Jira, Checkmarx, Code Dx, Bitbucket, Atlassian Confluence/Wiki, Docker, Kubernetes, and Containerization Environments.
* Ability to work in traditional (waterfall) and Agile software development methodologies:
Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Jira
* Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
* Additional knowledge and skills in the following would be a plus:
Redis, Chain Guard, Microsoft SQL Server 2022, Jet Brains Rider dot Ultimate, Redgate, Docker, Adobe XD, Miro, Figma, MUI for Figma, IBM Watson, Cloud AI, Microsoft CoPilot Security Clearance :
* Must have a Secret clearance (min.) Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $100k-$150k++
