Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system‑level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Developer to lead the integration and ecosystem build‑up of Snapdragon Profiler across Qualcomm platforms, workflows and tools. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in GPU, graphics, gaming, or performance profiling for Development, QA or Integration, who thrives in cross‑functional environments and enjoys optimizing and debugging complex systems.

• Integrate Snapdragon Profiler (PIL/CLI) into mobile gaming engines, graphics stacks, and development/optimization/QA/integration workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to expand profiler adoption across the ecosystem with development, QA and CI/CD work.
• Extend plugins, SDKs, and APIs to enhance profiler usability and compatibility.
• Support the usage of profiling tools for power and performance optimization and debugging efforts.
• Integrate internal and external tools/scripts/eco‑system tools to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to developers using Snapdragon Profiler.
• Contribute documentation, tutorials, and sample projects to foster community engagement.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Mobile GPU, graphics development, or gaming tools/scripts integration.
• Hands‑on experience with profiling tools GUI/PIL/CLI (e.g., Snapdragon Profiler, Qualcomm Profiler, Render Doc, Perfetto, NVIDIA Nsight, Apple Xcode, MTK MET/Dimensity Tools…).
• Proven track record in debug, optimization, integration or QA on graphics/gaming applications.
• Familiarity with Android and/or Windows development environments and integration process.
• Experience on development and integration of plugin lib/CLI of profiling tools for development, debug, automation test and CI/CD workflow.
• Experience with C++ and scripting languages (Python or Nodejs).
• Understanding of frame capture, shader analysis, and GPU performance metrics.

• Experience with game development, optimization or real‑time rendering on mobile platform.
• Experience on profiling tools like Render Doc, Xcode instrument, or other GPU Profiler tools.
• Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and low‑level system performance.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks for tool development (e.g., Qt, ImGui).

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work across disciplines (graphics, QA, Dev Ops).
• Passion for gaming, performance, and developer experience.
