Job Description

We are the Governance Risk and Components Engineering Team where we work on a portfolio of risk-related products. We build and own applications on the Service Now Platform that our enterprise customers leverage for their business. Our risk management applications are used by enterprises all around the world.

• Build the best cloud software for businesses using a market leading development cloud platform.
• Collaborate daily with a team of like‑minded developers, product managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
• Master new areas and take ownership of features that matter to our customers.
• Design features with a core commitment to quality and an eye to how the products will evolve in future releases.
• Work in a Scrum‑based Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision‑making, or problem‑solving. This may include using AI‑powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI‑driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 0+ years of work experience in software development
• Experience with debugging and testing software through a CI lifecycle
• Strong foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with Java, OOP, and Design Patterns
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL
• Experience with front‑end technologies (JavaScript) and UI Frameworks (Angular, React)
• Some working knowledge and ability to use tools to assist with daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, Service Now instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools)
• Hybrid working‑format = Must be able to go into office twice a week

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $96,200 - $139,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
