Duties
* You will perform progressive static and dynamic examination and evaluation of assigned Type/Model/Series aircraft electrical systems.
* You will create job order specifications and determine what type and amount of materials will be required.
* You will prepare costs and time estimates in support of assigned project/program and from engineering drawings (electrical, mechanical and structural) with labor estimates.
* You will ensure products are reworked within technical specifications and meet negotiated labor and material requirements.
* You will conduct formal training and on the job training to other employees in support of program goals and objectives.
* You will assign tasks to immediate workers, relay supervisor's instructions, and provide guidance to workers on methods and procedures.
* You will accomplish other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain required certification and/or license as a condition of employment.
* You will be required to wear personal protective equipment.
* This position may be subject to rotation shift assignment and overtime.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to comply with health, safety, and environmental instructions and policies as well as all agency policies and procedures.
* This position requires lifting and carrying objects up to 35 pounds. Any weight lifted in excess of 35 pounds will not be attempted unaided. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible.
The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO PROVIDE PRODUCTION SERVICES, and includes the following:
1) Examining and/or evaluating the condition of an aircraft and associated electrical components to determine overhaul requirement;
2) Analyzing aircraft logbooks, removal and replacement interval cards, records, and configuration information for the rework and/or repair of assigned aircraft;
3) Interpreting and retaining information from blueprints, specifications; and technical directives; and
