We currently have a prospective opportunity for an Audio Visual Command Meeting Engineer to support the DLA in San Diego, California.

• Supports Senior Executive Services (SES) and Military officers conference and meeting spaces.
• Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces. Ability to install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers.
• Installation of AV systems on client sites.
• Read blueprints and wire AV racks.
• Serves as Lead Audio Visual Engineer.
• Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment.
• Has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cables.
• Experience with Audio Visual equipment, internet-based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design.
• Will access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS with installation and troubleshooting system hardware.

Certification requires a minimum of one of the following: AMX Technician (Networked AV) Certification, Completed Crestron CTI Technician Track Certification or AVIXA CTS certification.

Experience:

Five (5) years of relevant experience and experience working with:

• Crestron
• Cisco
• Biamp/AMX
• Extron
