Lead Electrician

We are seeking a Lead Industrial Electrician to join our team and contribute to multiple sites located between Santee and Lakeside. This role involves working on-site to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems.

• Complete weekly task lists as assigned.

• Perform repairs while the plant is operational.

• Run conduit and perform safety walks.

• Install and service equipment, including switch gear.

• Bend conduit and work with voltages of 480 volts and below.

• Engage in programming tasks and apply electrical theory.

• Conduct electrical testing and read electrical diagrams and blueprints.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform circuit and defect analysis.

• Repair AC/DC motor controls and follow safety initiatives.

• Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, and oscilloscopes to identify system weaknesses.

• Work independently and inspect equipment regularly.

• Proficiency in electrical wiring and troubleshooting.

• Experience with industrial electrical systems.

• Knowledge of 480 volts and below electrical work.

• Programming skills (e.g., Wonder Logics).

• CA Journeyman Certification.

• 5-7+ years of experience as an industrial electrician.

• OSHA/MSHA Certifications.

• NFP 70 E Training.

• Experience with installation, service, maintenance, and programming.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in San Diego,CA.
