Job Title:GSE Mechanic – San Diego International Airport (SAN)
We look for mechanics who enjoy troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical or HVAC issues and working in a team environment. The role will involve maintaining and repairing various ground support equipment (GSE).
CompensationBase pay range: $34.00/hr - $37.00/hr the actual pay rate may vary based on experience, skills, certifications, and location.
Work ScheduleShift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday.

- On‑Call Bonus
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Use Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) to document all repairs
- Follow safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA)
- Participate in continuous improvement and training opportunities
- 1–4 years experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or HVAC systems
- Diesel, automotive, or heavy equipment repair background
- Strong troubleshooting skills and computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Must provide own hand tools
- Strong communication skills
- Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a valid driver’s license
- Team player with ability to work independently
- English language proficiency
- Med/Heavy Truck or Light Truck Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
- Universal HVAC certification preferred
