Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

An Electrical Apprentice has knowledge of N.E.C. electrical codes and works at different scopes depending on skill level with oversight from a Journeyman level and Foreman.

• Install wiring systems, outlets, fixtures, and other components; ability to read blueprints and schematics with guidance.
• Assist with troubleshooting and electrical problems, replacing faulty wiring, switches, and outlets.
• Run and strap MC cable, EMT, PVC, and seal‑tight conduit.
• Learn to use and maintain electrical tools such as wire strippers, multimeters, conduit bending; assist with setup and organization.
• Measure and cut wires, conduits, and other materials to specific lengths.
• Work with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, single‑man lifts, etc.
• Maintain a "safety first" approach; comply with company policies, industry regulations, and standards; keep work areas clean and organized.

• 1‑4 years of experience in the electrical field.
• Valid Electrical Trainee Certification.
• OSHA 30 Certified is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and diverse environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and using hands and arms to operate equipment.
• Good vision, strong sense of balance, no fear of heights.
• Can lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, pipe bending, and industry NEC code.
• Problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in both speaking and writing of English.

Pay Ranges: $19.00 – $30.00 per hour.

Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Voluntary Insurance, and 401(k) with 4% match.
