Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover, Secret Clearance in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, verifying access credentials, and directing individuals to approved destinations.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
* Monitor and respond to alarms, unusual conditions, and requests for assistance, escalating concerns per post orders and coordinating with on-site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
* Control entry to restricted areas by following check-in protocols, logging visitors, issuing temporary passes when authorized, and maintaining awareness of prohibited items and/or activities.
* Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
