Position Description
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the COMMANDING OFFICER, SECURITY DEPARTMENT of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities- You will manage Personnel Security Investigations (PSIs), position sensitivity classifications, and security clearance eligibility determinations.
- You will conduct advanced physical security surveys, inspections, and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with upper echelon directives.
- You will ensure compliance with need-to-know principles and access control measures for exclusion areas where classified functions are performed.
- You will review and approve foreign national visit requests, ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
- You will participate in base-wide disaster planning and anti-terrorist exercises, ensuring readiness for various threat and vulnerability levels.
