As a Security Officer – Commercial Property Patrol in San Diego, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial property by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unsecured doors, lighting issues, hazards, and policy violations, and help to deter unwanted activity through high‑visibility presence and timely reporting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, alarms, and calls for service.
• Document patrols, incidents, and maintenance or security‑related observations in reports and/or logs, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management as required.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
