This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will support tenants, visitors, and property teams while working in a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, and built on integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and help manage visitor access by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and addressing access concerns in accordance with location-specific procedures.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions such as unsecured doors, broken gates, lighting issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and communicate concerns to appropriate contacts for follow up.
  • Complete detailed shift activity reports, incident reports, and maintenance observations using required reporting methods.
  • Assist with building opening and/or closing procedures when assigned, including checking doors, elevators, stairwells, and common areas for irregularities.
  • Support customer and tenant needs with clear communication, professional presence, and de-escalation techniques when addressing disputes and/or disturbances.
  • Operate and/or monitor security-related systems as assigned such as CCTV, alarm panels, and access control, and report issues or activations according to post orders.
  • Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions based on the location, including walking and standing for extended periods as required by the post.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
