Salary: $24.00 - $25.50 hourly

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 4:00 am - 12:30 pm

Job Description:

• The Safety and Security Ambassador is responsible for overseeing safety and security patrols of the residential properties.
• The Ambassador will act as a conduit between the Safety and Security on-site lead, residential office administration teams, operations, engineering, and third-party security vendors.
• The Ambassador will work closely with and train the third-party security teams to ensure the safety and security of the property and residents.
• The Ambassador will maintain best practices for security patrols, access control, video surveillance and tenant relations as it pertains to safety which include responding to resident concerns, assisting residents, walking the surrounding property and helping to identify building operations that need repair, replacement, and/or attention (eg: elevators, gates, doors, trash rooms, etc.), ensuring amenities are safe, locked, and in good working order, and performing building access and checkpoints to ensure safety.
• The Ambassador will be responsible for coordinating/monitoring the entry of tenants, visitors, vendors, tow companies, ride share companies, food delivery services, and first responders to the property via access controls and surveillance cameras as directed by the Security Lead.

• The Ambassador reports administratively to the Corporate Director of Safety and Security.
• The Ambassador reports functionally and operationally to the on-site Safety and Security Manager and Team Leads, but also maintains an indirect reporting relationship with the Property Manager.
• The Ambassador shall also work closely with the third-party security teams to provide support services for various property service request.
• This position patrols the grounds on foot/vehicle and responds to tenant request, noise complaints, intruder alerts, or suspicious activity.
