As a Security Officer - Mobile Defense Patrol in San Diego, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle as well as on foot.

• Mon 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Thu 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:30 PM – 06:30 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe individuals entering and exiting the location.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, unusual occurrences, or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security‑related concerns.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings at all times.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories according to applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
