Overview
Territory Manager - Surgical (San Diego). The Territory Manager Surgical will be responsible for the clinical sales of the Ultrasonics portfolio in a designated region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role spends time in the hospital ORs, Surgery Centers, physician offices, and operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve assigned quota on a monthly and quarterly basis at 100% or higher.
- Maintain working knowledge of all BGS and Ultrasonic products.
- Prospect and land new account opportunities.
- Cross-sell and upsell to expand account business and support the capital sale.
- Launch new technologies in the assigned territory.
- Drive regional sales in existing accounts and penetrate targeted accounts.
- Coordinate and conduct in-services for surgeons, OR staff, and sterile processing prior to evaluations.
- Provide onsite clinical support to accounts during the evaluation process.
- Work closely with Regional Managers and Distributors to implement the sales model.
- Assist with labs, trade shows, training, and convention activities.
- Complete all required product and sales-related training curriculum.
- Complete special projects as assigned by upper management.
- BA/BS degree.
- A minimum of 2–3 years B2B sales, OR, surgical, or medical device sales. For internal applicants: 1 year as an ATM with Bioventus and 6–12 months of equivalent sales experience prior.
- A valid driver’s license in one of the 50 United States.
- Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal/communication abilities, including proper phone etiquette.
- Computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Highly detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
- Good decision-making, sound judgment, and critical thinking.
- Motivated and able to work independently within a fast-paced, team environment.
- Proven track record of success in sales and territory development.
- High energy with a drive for results.
- Curious to learn every day, with a customer and patient focus.
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to build customer relationships quickly by providing value.
