Pay RangeBase pay range: $22.88/hr – $28.73/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
General SummaryThe Financial Service Representative (FSR) performs sales and service activities within established guidelines. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, securing loans, cross‑selling products, meeting monthly sales goals, and maintaining high quality service standards.
Principal Accountabilities (95%) Member Experience- Build member relationships and assist in selecting appropriate financial products and services.
- Provide exceptional service, resolving complaints quickly and accurately.
- Ensure timely loan closing through consistent follow‑up.
- Respond to member inquiries via telephone, mail, email, or internal referral.
- Expand and retain membership to increase satisfaction.
- Adhere to CCU's Member Experience Playbook, SLAs, and corporate initiatives.
- Follow the branch escalation process.
- Explain account types, products, and services to members.
- Have a thorough understanding of all digital products and assist members in establishing online banking, mobile banking, mobile deposits, direct deposit, and bill pay.
- Interview members to determine appropriate products and services.
- Comply with all identification regulations for new account holders.
- Analyze existing relationships to identify cross‑sell opportunities.
- Generate outbound telemarketing calls to promote relevant credit union products.
- Close sales opportunities, including loans and new accounts.
- Maintain follow‑up programs to expand multiple account relationships.
- Open basic business accounts, fiduciary, trust accounts, IRAs, and HSAs and complete all required tasks.
- Recommend appropriate products and services to members.
- Conduct member interviews regarding loan requests.
- Cross‑sell loan protection products.
- Review documentation and forward to Consumer Lending for approvals when not system‑approved.
- Communicate loan disposition (approved, counter‑offer, denied).
- Create loan documents and obtain member signatures.
- Disburse new loans and complete follow‑up tasks.
- Refer business loans when appropriate.
- Enhance member relationships to increase service quality.
- Develop existing and new member relationships through business development, on‑site visits, and community events.
- Attend on‑site events.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and credit union policies.
- Participate in staff development programs.
- Report to work on time as scheduled.
- Complete all BAI trainings and classroom courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Qualifications Abilities- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of new accounts and lending policies.
- Solid knowledge of sales and referral techniques.
- Working knowledge of personal computers.
- Two to three years of financial institution experience in new accounts, sales, and consumer loan origination.
