Job DescriptionReporting to the Sr. Club Director & Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in supporting clubs and regions by enhancing the effectiveness and performance of Membership Advisors. The role’s primary focus is coaching and managing sales and new membership performance of Equinox Membership Advisors in their assigned clubs.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of Membership Advisors and oversee sales performance across multiple Equinox clubs.
- Maintain a daily rotation across assigned clubs and collaborate with Membership Sales Advisor teams.
- Monitor daily activities and productivity, engage with advisors to address gaps, and hold them accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Create a culture of daily closure – bring urgency to target achievement, motivate performance, and celebrate success.
- Coach and develop sales talent by collaborating with General Managers, corporate hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Work with L&D to develop Membership Sales Advisor skill sets and implement performance plans for low performers.
- Eliminate time sinks for advisors, resolve issues, and adjudicate concerns.
$75,000‑$85,000 annually + additional bonus opportunities.
Qualifications- BA/MS degree preferred.
- Proven record in sales management with strong understanding of internal sales systems (Engage, MoSo, etc.).
- Expertise executing the Membership Sales Advisor role at a high level.
- Knowledge of activities driving new member acquisition (frequency, type, quality, sequence).
- Strong coaching and leadership skills, able to differentiate coaching style for new and seasoned advisors.
- Metrics‑oriented mindset; ability to analyze performance, identify gaps, root causes, and act on interventions.
- Creative problem‑solving and use of new techniques.
- High energy, motivational, and personable.
- Travel within assigned market area/region.
- Integrity, honesty, and a personal commitment to high performance.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly.
- Passionate about and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry.
- Willingness to be a team player in a high‑pace sales environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent time‑management, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
